Zheela believes in empowering individuals to make an impact. She began her career as a project manager and architect and later launched her own start-up in the publishing analytics space. She is the co-founder of Pakathon, an organization that helps entrepreneurs interested in Pakistan conceptualize and grow ventures. Pakathon explores methods of diaspora engagement in order to reverse the brain drain. Since 2013, Zheela has grown Pakathon from a 2 man team to a 40+ strong volunteer organization, with chapters in 16 cities that reach 5000+ individuals. Zheela was educated at Yale and MIT and has lived and worked internationally, in the US, Pakistan, Greece, Denmark and Germany.
