Chloe Maxmin - Expert
Chloe Maxmin is a Senior at Harvard College. She became a climate activist when she was 12, and she started the Climate Action Club in high school, galvanizing a movement in her school and community. She then founded First Here, Then Everywhere (www.firstheretheneverywhere.org) to empower youth environmentalists. Chloe co-founded Divest Harvard (www.divestharvard.com) and has become a leader in the international fossil fuel divestment movement, which aims to reduce the political influence of the fossil fuel industry. She has received national and international recognition for her activism. Experience: Description of your professional experience (see attached for example). Chloe Maxmin has participated in many campaigns within the climate movement. She has also successfully launched two climate campaigns--one in high school in Maine and one at Harvard University. In addition to activism and academia, Chloe has been honored to receive awards and recognition for her work, including the Brower Youth Award and being named a "Green Hero" by Rolling Stone. Chloe was featured on NPR, the New York Times, and multiple other news outlets.
