Daniel is Co-founder and CEO of Bureh, an ethical fashion company based in Sierra Leone. He was recently named one of YPIA’s 35 foreigners under 35 working in Africa, is a Legatum Fellow at MIT’s Legatum Center for Development and Entrepreneurship and is on a leave of absence from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. After graduating from Columbia University with a degree in Mathematics and Economics, Daniel moved to Sierra Leone to work for MIT’s Poverty Action Lab. There he designed and implemented a new micro-credit product in 40 communities. While in Sierra Leone, Daniel founded Bureh.
